Because wood warps over time and wood sets are patterned after original parts, each wood set requires some adjustment before installation to ensure a perfect fit.
It is important that the parts are sanded away from the visible side so that the paint and veneer do not come off. It is best to use a belt sander for this. The sides that have been ground free can then be blackened with a black permanent marker. The work should be carried out by trained specialists!
