Bumper kit for conversion to chrome bumpers Fiat 124 Spider (incl. bumper bracket) (74-85)

Please note that there are significant differences depending on the type of Spider you own and the extent of the planned conversion. We can only offer you a brief installation guide, as we cannot describe all possible conversions. For an experienced mechanic, the conversion should take approximately 10-14 hours! Adjustments may be necessary for vehicles with accident damage!

Remove the front/rear bumpers with brackets - this requires removing the fuel tank.

Install new brackets at the front - these should fit directly onto the original mounting points and be easy to install! Align the bumper and drill side mounting holes in the fenders. Install the indicators of your choice.

Install new brackets at the rear - drill another mounting hole in the side member near the fuel tank opening to avoid compromising stability. Ensure the bracket is at an appropriate distance from the body. Hold the bumper corners and drill mounting holes in the side panels. Optionally, you can install license plate lights in the bumper corners and use the appropriate wiring kit.

Remove the license plate lights in the bumper corners and use the appropriate wiring kit. You have a lot of freedom when choosing your front turn signals. However, please pay attention to the E-mark and, if necessary, consult your local TÜV before installation to avoid any future problems related to your H-approval or general roadworthiness.
