For perfect engine performance, the thermostat must be switched on and off at the prescribed water temperatures.bsIf the thermostatic valve starts to open at a lower temperature, the engine's operating temperature will only be reached with some difficulty, whereas the engine tends to overheat if the thermostatic valve opens at a higher temperature, i.e. too late.

The thermostat starts to open at 81°-85° C and must be fully open at 92° C . The path of the thermostatic valve until it reaches the engine's temperature must be determined.

The travel of the thermostatic valve until it is fully open(92° C) is 7.5mm.
