Overhauling the rear axles of Spiders with 2-liter engines can only be done with a special tool that virtually no one possesses anymore! The differentials must be adjusted with extreme precision by trained personnel! Otherwise, the rear axle is usually damaged again when the car is lowered from the lift! Therefore, we strongly recommend replacing the entire rear axle!

The old part must be rebuildable! If the differential carrier is warped or broken, we will have to retain the deposit! The same applies to other rear axles. A deposit refund can only be issued if both the order and the returned part are from a DS rear axle. Otherwise, the deposit will also be retained!

Are you unsure which rear axle you have? Then simply measure the area marked in red in image 5. This distance (A) is approximately 5 cm for a DS rear axle.

The costs for shipping to and from our warehouse depend on the distance and must be calculated manually based on your shipping address.
