Overhauling the rear axles of Spiders with 2-liter engines can only be done with a special tool that virtually no one possesses anymore! The differentials must be adjusted with extreme precision by trained personnel! Otherwise, the rear axle is usually damaged again when lowering the car from the lift! Therefore, we strongly recommend replacing the entire rear axle!

The old part must be rebuildable! If the differential carrier is warped or broken, we will have to retain the deposit! The same applies to other rear axles. A deposit credit can only be issued if both the order and the returned part are CS2 or CS0 rear axles. Otherwise, the deposit will also be retained!

Are you unsure which rear axle you have exactly? Then simply measure the area marked in red in image 5. This distance (A) is approximately 3 cm for a CS2 or CS0 rear axle.
