Manufactured from high quality AISI 301 stainless steel with shape memory.

Specially designed to handle ever increasing cylinder pressures and temperatures and are fitted as original equipment by many car manufacturers. They are manufactured using the high quality shape memory material AISI 301 and feature a combination of 3 to 5 outer and inner layers that can withstand higher degrees of compression compared to standard configurations. The grade of steel used for the layers can vary depending on the requirements of the engine. They provide an excellent sealing effect that is uniform over the entire surface and compensate for any kind of deformation of the cylinder bore. They are the best solution for both engines with aluminium cylinder heads with cast iron cylinder blocks and engines with aluminium cylinder heads with aluminium cylinder blocks. Each layer is cut individually with state-of-the-art laser equipment, which guarantees perfect cut quality, while the embossings are formed by an optimal stabilisation process. Athena's multilayer gaskets are carefully analysed and tested.
